JFLTI: Hebrew Witches – Rustlung

Hebrew Witches

Tapes Tapes Tapes.

It feels like I’ve had about a 40 day long hangover from Cassette Store Day as I’ve still got some stuff we recorded in September in The Last Word to post and about 30 tapes still to make. However, this morning I took a glance through the newest Edinburgh releases on Bandcamp to find this Hebrew Witches release lurking. Hebrew Witches is the collaborative efforts of Alan McCormack (Now Wakes The Sea) and Andrew Pearson. Released Common Records Rustlung defies being anything other than excellent and you really need to have a listen. I was lucky enough to pick it up on Cassette Store Day and I reckon it’s had more plays than Fuzzkill Records’ Now That’s What I Call Music 666 and Art Is Hard’s Jam Kidz combined.
